Protecting Western Australia's Vulnerable Animals

Providing care and support for animals whose owners are experiencing hardship, homelessness or crisis situations.

Our Mission & Vision

Compassionate Animal Care For All

Western Australian Animals Incorporated is a registered charity dedicated to providing essential care and support to animals whose owners are experiencing significant hardship or crisis situations. We believe that financial circumstances should never prevent animals from receiving the care they deserve.

Founded in 2018, our organization works across Western Australia to bridge the gap between vulnerable community members and quality animal care services. We particularly focus on assisting:

  • People experiencing financial hardship
  • Those at risk of homelessness
  • Victims of domestic violence
  • Other vulnerable community members

Our Core Values

Compassion • Inclusivity • Integrity • Innovation • Collaboration

Changing Lives, One Paw at a Time

Our work addresses the critical intersection between animal welfare and human social services. When vulnerable people can't access vet care or pet supplies, it often leads to heartbreaking surrenders of beloved family pets.

Research shows that keeping people and pets together during difficult times improves mental health outcomes, provides emotional stability, and often serves as motivation for people to improve their circumstances.

Happy recipient

"When I was escaping domestic violence with my two dogs, WA Animals provided food and medical care so I could keep my only source of comfort during that terrible time. They gave me hope."
